East Poland is the first crossing west of SLR Lewiston Junction at 718 Empire Rd, Poland, ME 04274, 44°04'14.4"N 70°19'40.8"W, and is a good place to catch departing westbound trains. There is also a gas supply station and a post office.

Lewiston Jct is just east of here and is also the starting point for the SLR locals 512 and 513.
